The test requires a broad range of advanced general accounting skills and a week of in-depth study on the features and capabilities of the Intuit QuickBooks Online product.
QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Survey
A recent survey found that there are less than 25 QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisors in the Los Angeles area, among about 250 QBO Certified ProAdvisors, and several thousand uncertified QuickBooks consultants.
QB ProAdvisors are uniquely qualified by offering great value-adds in designing and implementing systems utilizing lesser-known program features and add-on apps, customized to the specific needs of small businesses and thereby dramatically increasing productivity.
QuickBooks Online is the future
QuickBooks Online (“QBO”) is widely considered the future of Intuit’s most popular product and customers are encouraged to migrate from the various QuickBooks Desktop Products (QB Pro, QB Premier and QB Enterprise) to cloud-based QBO. QBO is not just a hosted version of regular QB but a quite different and robust accounting and financial reporting package with increasingly complex features.
QuickBooks Online consists of a range of offerings, including QBO Simple Start, QBO Essentials and QBO Plus. These are cloud-based products accessible from just about any desktop or mobile device with a conventional browser. Users may normally work the product concurrently from locations worldwide, and QBO includes an ecosphere of add-on apps and services such as payroll, payments and income tax options.
QuickBooks Desktop offerings include QB Pro, QB Premier and QB Enterprise and are also surrounded by an ecosphere of supporting products. QB Desktop runs on Windows and Mac PC’s.
The QuickBooks ProAdvisor program recently celebrated its twentieth anniversary, and boasts over 1 million visitors per year, most seeking to find the right ProAdvisor.
