Joe Kennedy
Role: Founding Principal/ Quickbooks Advanced ProAdvisor
Joe Kennedy is the founder of SSR Programming LLC (dba QB-LA.com), and has been using Quickbooks since the earliest desktop versions were released in the 1990s. He has worked with some of the largest firms in the U.S., as well as hundreds of smaller to mid- sized businesses. A native of Pennsylvania, he has an MBA and a B.S. in finance and accounting, both from the Pennsylvania State University, and has earned the Intuit Quickbooks Proadvisor Advanced Online certification every year since 2016, as well as other certificates. He is also author of “The Small Business Owner’s Manual,”; (Career Press, 2005) and has written many related articles and been a guest on business-oriented radio shows across the U.S. He finds great satisfaction in bringing order and accuracy to varied accounting and financial situations so that entrepreneurs can focus on growing and enjoying their businesses.
Mikhail Sabirov
Role: Project Manager
Mikhail Sabirov holds an A.S. in Accounting from Ventura College and an A.A. in Business Administration from Oxnard College. He has completed all major coursework for his B.S. in Accountancy at Colorado State University and is expected to graduate this summer. He is an Intuit QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor, QuickBooks Payroll ProAdvisor, and a CTEC-credentialed tax preparer. Mikhail also earned a Certificate in Data Analytics from the Institute of Management Accountants and is an active IMA member. He volunteers through the IRS VITA program in partnership with the local chapter of United Way, donating his time and expertise to assist individuals and families in need.
Carlos Salazar
Role: Senior Accountant
Over twenty years experience in accounting and financial reporting, including cash, inventory management, strategic planning, financial analysis and controls. Proven ability to manage, train, and direct accounting staff in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax, cost and general accounting. Thorough knowledge of accounting and operations systems including implementation and financial reports writing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. MBA degree in Finance.
Elizabeth Buchanan
Role: Staff Accountant
Elizabeth Buchanan brings extensive accounting experience to her work, backed by a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University and QuickBooks ProAdvisor training and acting as lead accountant for many smaller businesses here in southern California. Her career spans both public and private sectors, including roles such as Administrative Aide for the U.S. House Committee on Government Operations, Staff Accountant at Marsh & McLennan, and Accounting Manager at the National Forest Products Association as well as serving as Controller for the American Colleges & Universities Association. She recently renewed her Intuit Quickbooks ProAdvisor Online Certifications Level 1 and Level 2 (the highest offered) through June 2026.
Harry Jeong
Role: CPA/Tax
Harry Jeong is a Certified Public Accountant in California who is experienced in the combination
of general accounting and tax preparation services for small businesses from 2010. He began
his journey in accounting with a focus on taxation and now aims to become a leading advisor in
small business finance. Harry lives in Los Angeles with a son and wife.
Javed Peeran
Role: CPA/TAX
Javed Peeran is CPA licensed from the State of California. In addition he has several other Audit licenses namely CISA, CISM, CDPSE and MBA. He has been a CFO and Corporate Controller for 15 years in leading technology companies. In addition he has been an auditor for 20 years in the financial services industry including banks, insurance companies and mortgage companies. Javed is very experienced in taxes, dealing with the IRS, EDD, FTB and CDTFA and have resolved complicated tax issues and saved clients corrosive tax liabilities. He has also worked and helped clients save large amounts of tax liabilities using the Offer In Compromise (OIC) negotiation process. Javed has also been intrinsically involved with the migration of legacy accounting systems into ERP Oracle Financial e-business suites including GL, AR, AP, Inventory and FA modules. The process included downloading of financial data, the reconciliation and cleansing process in order to upload onto the ERP systems.
Bridgette Meston
Role: Internal invoicing, accounting and office management
Bridgette has more than 30 years of experience as an accountant with both professional services and manufacturing companies. Throughout her career she has built her skills in Quickbooks Desktop (all versions) and since 2010 in Quickbooks Online where she has obtained the Quickbooks ProAdvisor Online Certification Level 1. She has been in charge of office management here at QB-LA since 2016, and has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Carlow University.
She is accomplished in financial statement preparation and analysis, bank and liability account reconciliations, journal entries, payroll and digital marketing. She is also proficient in GAAP, auditing, and accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
